Conditions We Diagnose & Treat

Ocular Inflammatory Consultants (O.In.C.) provides comprehensive evaluation and management of ocular inflammatory disease and related immune-mediated eye conditions. Many of our patients are referred by ophthalmologists, optometrists, and rheumatologists for specialized assessment and long-term care.

Conditions We Treat

Uveitis

Inflammation of the uveal tract — including anterior, intermediate, posterior, and panuveitis. We use advanced treatments to get better long-term results and reduce the chance of permanent vision loss from all types of uveitis.

Autoimmune Conditions

Ocular and orbital inflammation is frequently associated with systemic autoimmune conditions. Early diagnosis and treatment are critical to preventing vision loss.

Drug-Induced Ocular Complications

Ocular side effects from hydroxychloroquine, immune checkpoint inhibitors, biologics, and other systemic medications are carefully monitored, and we coordinate closely with medical teams to ensure effective, timely communication about each patient’s care.

Other Immune-Mediated Eye Disease

Including infectious, environmental, and unknown causes. If your condition potentially involves immune-mediated inflammation affecting the eye, we can help.

Our Treatment Approach

Step 1

Comprehensive Evaluation

A thorough examination including slit-lamp biomicroscopy, fundoscopy, OCT imaging, fluorescein angiography when indicated, and targeted laboratory workup to identify underlying causes.

Step 2

Individualized Diagnosis & Plan

We develop a treatment strategy tailored to the specific type, severity, and underlying cause of your ocular inflammation. Your care and experience comes first. There is never a one-size-fits-all approach.

Step 3

Ongoing Management & Coordination

Long-term care using eye drops, corticosteroids, steroid-sparing immunosuppressive agents, and biologic therapies as appropriate. We coordinate directly with your referring provider and any relevant specialists to ensure aligned care.

We Work Across Specialties

Ocular inflammatory disease rarely exists in isolation. We collaborate directly with your care team to ensure your treatment plan is comprehensive, coordinated, and effective.
